Vivienne Frances Faull (born 20 May 1955) is a British Anglican bishop and Lord Spiritual. Since 2018, she has served as the Bishop of Bristol. In 1985, she was the first woman to be appointed chaplain to an Oxbridge college.
Bishop Viv's biography. The Rt Revd Vivienne Faull is the 56th Bishop of Bristol. Born in 1955, Viv was brought up in a village on the Wirral, although she has close links to the Bristol area. Viv's mother was brought up in Bristol and her grandparents lived here all their lives.
The bishop is Vivienne Faull (previously Dean of York), since the confirmation of her election on 25 June 2018. She was consecrated at St Paul's Cathedral on 3 July 2018 and enthroned in her Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity, Bristol on 20 October 2018.
