After spending the autumn term planning we launched Eco Schools with an assembly in January. We shared our targets to improve energy usage, transport and biodiversity within the school and how we aimed to achieve this.

Hace 3 días · Led by 15 combined victories in events, the Wakefield Warriors won the girls and boys team championships at the recent Titan Classic Invitational track and field meet at Alexandria City High School. The girls won eight events to amass 146 points and the boys captured seven to score 177.

  6. 3 de may. de 2024 · Wakefield GirlsHigh School experienced great joy when their GCSE students received a set of exceptional results. In total, over three-quarters of all GCSE entries were awarded 9 - 7 grades with one-third being awarded the highly sought after grade 9.

  7. 1 de may. de 2024 · Wakefield GirlsHigh School has announced another stellar set of A-level results, with half of their students celebrating straight A* and A grades awarded in three or more subjects and two-thirds of students achieving grades A* to B. This follows an unprecedented 18 months’ period of blended learning.
