  4. Biography. Lord William Beauclerk (1766-1825) was the son of Aubrey Beauclerk, 5th Duke of St. Albans, and was the fourth of his parents' seven children. He was a great-great-grandson of King Charles II by Charles's mistress Nell Gwyn . William's brother Aubrey had originally inherited the title of duke, becoming the 6th Duke.
