William Desmond Taylor, né le 26 avril 1872 à Carlow et mort le 1 er février 1922 à Los Angeles, est un réalisateur, acteur, producteur et scénariste américain. Sa carrière dans le cinéma muet en a fait une figure populaire de l'industrie naissante d' Hollywood dans les années 1910 et le début des années 1920 [ 1 ] .
