He was the son of Pons of Toulouse and Almodis de la Marche. [1] He was married to Emma of Mortain, daughter of Robert, Count of Mortain, who gave him one daughter, Philippa.
William IV (German: Wilhelm) called William the Younger ( German: Wilhelm der Jüngere, c. 1425 – 7 July 1503) was duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and ruled over the Wolfenbüttel and Göttingen principalities. The eldest son of William the Victorious, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, he was given the Principality of Göttingen by his father in 1473.

William IV, Lord of Douglas. Seal of William, Lord of Douglas. William, Lord of Douglas (died 19 July 1333) was a short-lived Scottish nobleman, the son of Sir James Douglas and an unknown mother. Little is known of Lord Douglas's life which, after his father's death in Spain in 1330, he spent under the guardianship of Sir Archibald Douglas .
Biography. William was a son of John II, Lord of Egmond and Maria van Arkel, and a younger brother of Arnold, Duke of Gelderland. He travelled with his brothers to the Holy Land (1458–1464) and was received in Rome by Pope Pius II . William stayed most of the time in Guelders, where he supported his brother against his nephew Adolf of Egmond.
