House / Dynasty: Russell family. Francis Russell, 4th earl of Bedford (born 1593—died May 9, 1641, London) was the 4th earl of Bedford, the only son of William, Lord Russell of Thornhaugh, who became earl of Bedford by the death of his cousin Edward, the 3rd earl, in May 1627.
