William Seymour, 2nd Duke of Somerset, KG, KB (1588 – 24 October 1660) was an English nobleman and Royalist commander in the English Civil War.

William Seymour, segundo duque de Somerset, KG , KB (1588-24 de octubre de 1660) fue un noble inglés y comandante realista en la Guerra Civil Inglesa. Seymour era el hijo de Edward Seymour, Lord Beauchamp (que falleció antes que su propio padre) por su esposa Honora Rogers.
The Dukedom of Somerset remained under attainder until 1660, when the title was restored to the 1st Duke's great-grandson, William Seymour, 2nd Earl of Hertford later 1st Marquess of Hertford later 2nd Duke of Somerset.
On 3 March 1616, Frances married at Drayton Bassett William Seymour, 2nd Duke of Somerset (1588–1660), the son of Edward Seymour, Lord Beauchamp of Hache, and the grandson of Lady Catherine Grey. During the Civil War, he was a Royalist commander.

In September 1660 Hertford secured a private act of Parliament establishing his claim as duke of Somerset. He therefore died at the end of October as 2 nd duke of Somerset, and William Seymour succeeded as 3 rd duke.
