William Wyler Director de cine alemán Nació el 1 de julio de 1902 en Mulhouse, Francia. En 1920, tras haber cursado los estudios de comercio y música, se trasladó a los Estados Unidos, nacionalizándose en 1928. Pasó dos años como aprendiz y dirigió a partir de 1925 una serie de películas del oeste mudas.
