2024 saw our Chapel Choir make the finals of the Barnardo’s Youth Choir of the Year once again. The Music Department is also proud to have been shortlisted for the Performing Arts School of the Year Award (Music and Drama) in 2019, 2020 and 2022. Wrekin College appoints new Headmaster. The Governors of Wrekin College are delighted to announce the appointment of Richard Chapman as the school’s new Headmaster, in succession to Richard Pleming, with effect from 1st January 2014. Richard Chapman was educated at Solihull School where he was captain of rugby and cricket and Head of School.
