However, it wasn’t long before the Wright Brothers relocated their new flight school back home to Dayton, OH, where they continued to put potential pilots (men and women alike) through a rigorous training course.

29 de ago. de 2019 · Wright Flying School. One of the earliest flying schools was established in 1910 by Orville and Wilbur Wright in Alabama, at the current site of Maxwell Air Force Base. They quickly moved operations to their hometown of Dayton, Ohio, at Huffman Prairie Flying Field.

Wright Flying School Members - Encyclopedia of Alabama. The Wright Flying School opened in late March 1910 near Montgomery and closed about two months later. It was the first civilian flying school in the United States and saw the first recorded night flight, completed by Walter Brookins on May 25, 1910.
