•At 95 minutes in length, this film includes about 9 minutes of footage and lines that had to be removed for the original television broadcasts. However, there are also a few brief moments that are removed from this version including the final shot of Gabrielle sailing off on her own. That was removed because of the fan backlash surrounding the death of Xena.
•Whoosh has a list of the various changes between this cut and the TV version.
•These episodes were heavily influenced by the film, "A Chinese Ghost Story".
•The director's cut version of the two-part final episode was released one month after Kevin Smith's sudden death in February 2002.
