Yoshitaka Amano (天野 喜孝 —anteriormente 天野 嘉孝—, Amano Yoshitaka?) (Shizuoka, 26 de marzo de 1952) es un artista, diseñador de personajes, de vestuario y teatro; ilustrador y escenografo japonés. Destacó por primera vez en los años 60 trabajando en la adaptación anime de Mach GoGoGo.

Amano soon gained a loyal audience through the Japanese publication Science Fiction Magazine, which serialized his work in their Twlight World feature. In 1984, he published his first collection of paintings, Maten (Evil Universe) .
