In 1995 he was using and developing effects cymbals with Zildjian before there was a need for them and before anyone knew what they were for. Today he’s incorporating electronics and video into his drumming while evolving as a player and as a person.
Born and bred in New York City, the 30-something drummer made his name initially in the city’s fusion scene, working with such stellar artists as Michel Camilo, Chuck Loeb, Randy Brecker, Wayne Krantz, Leni Stern, and Dave Fiuczynski.
