Hace 1 día · Ohio has had three capital cities: Chillicothe, Zanesville, and Columbus. Chillicothe was the capital from 1803 to 1810. The capital was then moved to Zanesville for two years as part of a state legislative compromise to get a bill passed.

It was acquired by the Collins Career Technical Center in October 2023.

The state takes its name from the Ohio River, which in turn traces its name to an Iroquoian word meaning “great water.”.
