He was the youngest of the five Marx Brothers. He appeared in the first five Marx Brothers feature films, from 1929 to 1933, but then left the act to start his second career as an engineer and theatrical agent.

Zeppo ingick i komikergruppen på scen och i deras fem första filmer, men lämnade gruppen 1934.
Zeppo Marx. Actor. Born February 25, 1901 in New York City, New York, USA. The youngest of The Marx Brothers, Zeppo was put into the role of the straight man after his brother Gummo left the act. Zeppo also acted as an understudy to all three of his brothers, and he has been said to have played Grouchos part better than Groucho himself.
A memorable Groucho number from the beginning of Horse Feathers, probably the best all round Marx Brother's film.
