Hace 21 horas · So the first thing I want to ask: why Prague? I’m doing a master’s degree at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. I started teaching a little bit in the last few years. I thought, ‘I can’t carry on my design career the way I have forever.’ The way I work is too intense. (Laughs.) It sort of drives your body into the ground.
Hace 21 horas · My roommate at the time was applying to The Academy. I’d heard of it before but didn’t know what it was, so I applied, too. She didn’t get in…but I got in. I was in Prague, this beautiful place, but realized there was still work to be done. I had a similar time when I was living abroad. Something in me needed to come back to the industry.
