This seems to strongly suggest Advaita not Dvaita. How does Shri Madhvacharya and the Dwaita vaadis interpret this verse?
as far as I understand, in both dvaita and advaita, creation is separate from god in the sense that creation is maya, the very act of creation necessitates maya (veiling), and so all of creation is covered or sheathed (koshas).. but advaita posits that inside that sheath is the Atman (soul) which is connected/continuous with God as ...
He points out emphatically that Purusha and Prakriti are both advaita. They are Brahman. Kapila, the founder of Old Sankhya is never attacked by the Vedanta School but infact elevated to the status of a God. There are some arguments made by Madhvacharya's School that the name Advaita was used to oppose a 'Dvaita Vedanta' that supposedly existed.
