actor, sculptor. Years active. 1967–1977. Amerigo Tot (born Imre Tóth; 27 September 1909 – 13 December 1984) was a Hungarian sculptor and occasional actor. Born in Fehérvárcsurgó, Austria-Hungary [1] he moved to Rome towards the end of the 1920s, where he lived for the rest of his life.

Biography. Amerigo Tot — Imre Tóth (1909–1984) 1909. He was born on September 27, 1909, in Fehérvárcsurgó, next to the castle of the counts Károlyi, in a vineyard. According to the legend, he was bathed in grape juice at his birth.

These are supplemented with graphics and monotypes found in private collections which can be treated as individual prints, reproduced in small numbers only by the artist.
