Minnie "Mary" Simpson is a Mayberry county nurse who appears in two episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. In her first appearance, she is played by actress Julie Adams, as she and Sheriff Andy Taylor try to talk Rafe Hollister into taking his tetanus shot.

Andy agrees to help the pretty new county nurse, Mary Simpson, talk farmer Rafe Hollister into taking his tetanus shot. Rafe is a hard working man who, he says, has never been sick and has never had to see a doctor.
Rafe Hollister : I ain't never been to the doctor in my life. Mary Simpson : Not ever? Rafe Hollister : When I's born, I had my mama. And when I die, I'll have the undertaker.
