Thomas the Apostle ( Greek: Θωμᾶς; Syriac ܬܐܘܡܐ, Tʾōmā, meaning "the twin"), [a] also known as Didymus (Greek: Δίδυμος Didymos, meaning "twin"), was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus according to the New Testament.
Tomás ( hebreo: תוֹמָאס; griego: Θωμᾶς; copto: ⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ; sirio: ܬܐܘܡܐ ܫܠܝܚܐ Tʾōmā šliḥā), llamado también Judas Tomás Dídimo, fue uno de los doce apóstoles de Jesús, según el Nuevo Testamento. El nombre Tomás significa «gemelo» en arameo, y Dídimo tiene la misma acepción en griego.
