Bonus Proficiencies: Medium armor is nice until you get to 18 or 20 Dexterity, but you don’t get shields, so your AC won’t be as good as a College of Valor Bard. Scimitars are useful if you plan to use two-weapon fighting, which looks viable thanks to Fighting Style.

22 de may. de 2020 · Best Race for the College of Swords. The College of Swords wants about as much Dexterity as they want Charisma. These Bards are unique, in that you could use Strength instead of Dexterity if wanted. Those builds should consider a dip into Heavy Armor proficiency.
Subclasses like College of Lore are more of the classic support Bard, with improved magical options and support abilities, while College of Swords and College of Valor can serve as front-line melee characters who can bring their spellcasting and support capabilities into the heat of battle.
