William Morris 'Billy' Hughes (25 septembre 1862 – 28 octobre 1952) est un homme d'État australien. From the National Archives of Australia collection. William Morris Hughes was Labor Prime Minister in 1915–16, then was expelled from the party over his support for conscription. He held two referendums on the issue, convinced that only compulsory reinforcements of troops overseas would win the war.

She soon became one of the more popular actresses of the 1920s, appearing in Douglas Fairbanks ' smash hit Technicolor film The Black Pirate (1926), as Rodeo West in The Painted Angel (1929), and The American Beauty (1927). She married Irvin Willat, the director of her seventh film, in 1923. The two divorced in 1929.
