Instead, the Blue Hawaiian, likely an adaptation of Yee’s cocktail, is little more than a doctored Piña Colada.

Try pineapple juice ice cubes. Instead of regular ice, freeze pineapple juice into cubes. This way, as the cubes melt, they won’t dilute the drink’s tropical taste.
