    The Budgie ride was released in 1994. It was a very popular ride at both amusement arcades and shopping locations. Sadly, it has become over time so the availability of the ride has reached the same level as Jimbo.

    The ride is based on the titular helicopter himself. Inside the ride has a coin slot in the middle with left and right joysticks. The ride also has a flashing light pattern on the left and right side of the dashboard. Later the light display was removed and the start button was moved to the top via an updated dashboard.

    The sound playing during attract is Budgie saying "Come on! Climb aboard, and let's head for the sky!" The ride plays the Budgie the Little Helicopter theme song during motion. The left joystick makes Budgie say either "Rocketing Rotors!" or "Juddering Joysticks!" The right joystick makes Budgie say either "Budgie to Pippa. Come in, Pippa" or "Whee...

    Version 1 (1994)

    •Not much to say since it is the common version.

    Version 2 (Mid-1990s)

    •The ride has a new dashboard which removes the LED light screen. The start button is placed on the top with four push buttons.

    Version 3 (2000s)

    •The ride is low pitched and a custom end voice line is replaced by Mitchell's own 2000-2004 end message.

    •Distributed by Theisen Vending Company. The audio remains the same.

    •Most units does not have the top light or the dashboard lights flashing. This is because a bulb has blown is due to be replaced.

    •The LED lights on the dashboard don't flash.

    •Some units have been repainted for obvious reasons.

    •Some units has Budgie's eyes missing.

    •This ride is the first Budgie ride to be released.

    •Unknown if it is true or not, but it is said that the ride was released in the same month and year as when the show came out. It's almost like if the ride was made to promote the show!

  4. Budgie the Little Helicopter is a British animated television series, relating to a fictional helicopter and his friends, based on a series of children's books. The characters were based on the books by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
