El Museo "Legion de Honor" (del inglés: The Legion of Honor) (anteriormente, California Palace of Legion of Honor) es un museo de bellas artes de la ciudad de San Francisco (California, Estados Unidos). Junto con el museo M. H. de Young Memorial Museum, conforma el conjunto de Fine Art Museums (Museos de Bellas Artes) de la ciudad.
The Legion of Honor, or more formally known as the “California Palace of the Legion of Honor”, is a part of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. It is home to a vast collection of works and artifacts that span 4000 years of art history, all set out in a beautiful building that overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge.
11 de nov. de 2022 · The museum was constructed at a remote area of San Francisco called Land’s End, on the site of a 19th-century municipal cemetery, City Cemetery, primarily serving immigrant communities and the poor. The Legion opened on Armistice Day, November 11, 1924, as the California Palace of the Legion of Honor.
