  2. OP • 13 yr. ago. "Chubbuck's family brought an injunction against WXLT to prevent the release of the 2" quad videotape of her suicide. The Sarasota Sheriff's Department file lists a copy of the tape seized as evidence and later released it to Christine's family along with her possessions.

  3. I also think that the owner of the show kept the tape out of guilt. He knew it was also their fault what Chubbuck did, and kept it as a memory. Or maybe he did to fullfil her final wish: to be seen by everyone. As much as I am interested in this case, I really hope the video never comes out.
