Clare students, Fellows, and alumni have many notable, prestigious, and worthwhile achievements to their names. Our Fellows cover a range of fields, from medieval literature to cutting edge cancer treatments, and our alumni include Sir David Attenborough and Sir Henry 'Skip' Gates.

As a medical student, I’m one of the frequent library dwellers, and Clare’s Forbes Mellon Library is such a lovely and warm environment to work in, conveniently placed in the middle of Memorial Court!
Clare Boat Club is the rowing club for current members of Clare College. There is a separate club, De Burgh Boat Club, for alumni. In 2012, Clare Boat Club had the highest membership relative to the size of its student body of any college-affiliated boat club in Cambridge, fielding six men's VIIIs in the May Bumps competition.
