The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability. It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language.
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, abbreviated in English as CEFR, CEF, or CEFRL, is a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe and, increasingly, in other countries.
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an internationally recognized standard for describing language proficiency. The EF SET is currently the only standardized English test that accurately measures all skill levels, beginner to proficient, in alignment with the CEFR.
