Dudley Stuart John Moore CBE (19 April 1935 – 27 March 2002) was a British actor, comedian and musician. Moore was born in Charing Cross Hospital, London and raised in Dagenham, Essex. He studied at Magdalen College, Oxford. Moore became a pianist and composer. He began a comedy double act with Peter Cook.
