Hi all! I made this infographic to have a useful cheat sheet for the diplomacy and PU game in EU4. As many of you will already know, there's a great post in the Paradox forums that goes into detail about how to get Personal Unions and what's the best course of action in every situation.
3 de feb. de 2023 · To clarify, here is a list of all the kingdoms that can form Personal Unions through missions, and their potential junior partners, in EU4: Aragon → Portugal. Austria → Bohemia, Poland / Commonwealth, Hungary, Bavaria, Milan, Naples / Two Sicilies. Bavaria → The Palatinate, Brandenburg, Austria. Bohemia → Hungary, Poland / Commonwealth.

It can be formed by any country in the Nordic culture group ( Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Gotland, Finland, Denmark, Karelia, and Sápmi, as well as any country that changes to a Nordic culture). If formed by Sweden, Norway, or Denmark, it gets that nation's unique events.

There are multiple ways to get a PU. 1.) By event most notably Iberian Wedding. 2.) By declaring war with the Restoration of Union or Claim on the Throne war CB (Claim on the Throne CB is gained when another country shares you dynasty, has no heir, and you have more prestige you can claim the throne in the dynastic tab and then use the CB to go ...
General Guide to Personal Unions. Look for disputed successions and royal marry. You might get a succession war, a free union, or your dynasty on their throne. Royal marry same-dyntasy nations. If they have no heir or a weak claim heir, claim throne and take PU. Have higher development than other potential successors.
