Princess Charlotte of Prussia. Princess Feodora of Saxe-Meiningen (Feodora Viktoria Auguste Marie Marianne; 12 May 1879 – 26 August 1945) was born at Potsdam, the only child of Bernhard III, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen and his wife, Duchess Charlotte (the eldest daughter of Emperor Friedrich III of Germany and Empress Victoria ).
He died soon after his return to England in 1829. The Duke of Kent writing of this painting specified that it was painted in May 1818 at Amorbach, when the sitter was eleven years old. Biography. Daughter of Emich Carl, Prince of Leiningen, by Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, later Duchess of Kent and mother of Queen Victoria. Feodora was a half sister to Victoria. Married in 1828 Ernst, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg.
