As cinemainternational points out, the recent movie issues on TCM were very similar ( Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid and Forty Guns) - in both cases the correct introduction was shown, followed by a period of a dark screen, followed by a replacement movie and other shorts etc. to fill the allotted time.
Got the Saturday block as usual. Not a great daytime presentation but we do get Spielberg's double feature of Jailhouse Rock and Forty Guns in primetime. Noir Alley goes to Japan with Take Aim at the Police Van, which is a TCM premiere. After that, a 70s John Wayne double feature. Gunga Din (1939) MGM Cartoons: Old Smokey (1938)
