George Sinclair (Sinclar) (ca.1630–1696) [1] [2] was a Scottish mathematician, engineer and demonologist. The first Professor of Mathematics at the University of Glasgow, he is known for Satan's Invisible World Discovered, (c. 1685), a work on witchcraft, ghosts and other supernatural phenomena.

11 de abr. de 2018 · The Scottish natural philosopher George Sinclair (or Sinclar) ( c .1630–1696) was one of the earliest British writers on hydrostatics. He visited London in 1662, when he met Sir Robert Moray and Robert Boyle and left a manuscript treatise at the Royal Society.
