29 de nov. de 2020 · In June 1976, the Grateful Dead released a double album titled Steal Your Face, which features the iconic logo front and center on the album’s cover. Thus officially connecting the logo to the phrase.
Stanley, better known as “Bear,” showed this design to graphic designer Bob Thomas, who elaborated the design into the graphic we know today: a human skull with an enlarged cranium containing the original lightning bolt symbol, depicted in a contrasting red-and-blue palette.
