Donald K. MacCallum retired in 2003 from the University of Michigan as a Professor in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology. During his 34 years of tenure at the University of Michigan he was not only an extraordinary histologist and researcher, but also a dedicated teacher at both the dental and the medical school.
