Lucy's treasurer of the women's club, but she's done a horrible job keeping track of the money. The treasury is bare, so Lucy decides to have the club put on an operetta to raise money. In the final minutes, the camera pans left twice giving us a view behind the operetta scenery. Both times we can see the actresses playing the peasants waiting for their cue and laughing at the mayhem. They then run on stage in character, screaming as they run from the men.
