The "C" word isn't so bad, just as any commodity isn't so bad. It's simply not going to produce anything. It's only as valuable as its trade value, which sometimes rises (and beats inflation) and sometimes doesn't.

Nowadays anytime I see the word “scam” in a post, a review, or anywhere it has just completely lost all meaning. People are so quick to jump to “Oh you’re trying to scam me!” When met with answers or policies they don’t like. Ex. Customer goes to a retail store to get their product fixed or repaired due to damage.
