Electro (Maxwell "Max" Dillon) is a former electrical engineer at Oscorp who had idolized Spider-Man, but is transformed into an extremely powerful living electric capacitor after a freak accident. A subsequent incident with Spider-Man leads to the voices in his head to manipulate him into believing that Spider-Man used and deceived him.
