Eugene "Flash" Thompson is a minor antagonist in Spider-Man and a minor character in Spider-Man 3. The character was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1962. He was portrayed by actor Joe Manganiello in Sam Raimi 's Spider-Man film series. His incarnation as Venom with the powers of the symbiote was not depicted.
