John C. Cooper is a judge of the Second Circuit Court of Florida. He was elected to this position in 2002 and took office the following year, replacing retired Judge F. E. Steinmeyer III. He was re-elected by voters in 2008, 2014, and 2020. His current six-year term expires in January 2027.
Judge John Deed is a British legal drama television series produced by the BBC in association with One-Eyed Dog for BBC One. It was created by G.F. Newman and stars Martin Shaw as Mr Justice Deed, a High Court judge who tries to seek real justice in the cases before him.

John Sherman Cooper (August 23, 1901 – February 21, 1991) was an American politician, jurist, and diplomat from the United States. He served three non-consecutive, partial terms in the United States Senate before being elected to two full terms in 1960 and 1966, representing Kentucky .
