Kāpiti College is situated at Raumati Beach on the Kāpiti Coast in New Zealand, 45 minutes drive from Wellington City. It was called Raumati District High School when built in 1954, then renamed Kapiti College in 1957.

Kāpiti College is situated in Raumati Beach, a suburb of the town of Paraparaumu, a friendly beach community 40 minutes drive from Central Wellington. The college is a decile 8 state coed school and has a roll of over 1500, including 71 international students from many different countries.
Kāpiti College está situado en la playa de Raumati en la costa de Kapiti en Nueva Zelanda, a 45 minutos en coche de la ciudad de Wellington. Se llamó Escuela secundaria del distrito de Raumati cuando se construyó en 1954, luego pasó a llamarse Kapiti College en 1957.
Kāpiti College is a large coeducational secondary school located in Raumati on the Kāpiti Coast. The roll of 1458 students includes 20% who are Māori and 2% who have Pacific heritage. The department established for International Students was catering for 65 students at the time of this review.
Kāpiti College’s programme is supported by a strong homestay community which creates a real sense of welcome for the students. The Thai Ambassador to New Zealand, H.E. Maris Sangiampongsa, recently visited Kāpiti College and praised their achievements in teaching Thai language and culture.
