Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton features three songs from King George III (Jonathan Groff) that comment on the events of and following the American Revolution before sauntering to a goofy, lyric-less chorus.
Groff's Broadway performance of King George III in Hamilton was featured in the film production on Disney+ released on July 3, 2020. In 2021, the film of the musical received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture of a Musical or Comedy.
