Christopher Samuel Bond (born March 6, 1939) is an American attorney, politician and former United States Senator from Missouri and a member of the Republican Party. First elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986, he defeated Democrat Harriett Woods by a margin of 53–47%. He was re-elected in 1992, 1998, and 2004.

Kit served four terms in the U.S. Senate. As vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, he was known for his efforts to reform the intelligence community, provide support for a strong and well-equipped U.S. military, and improve care for veterans.

Bond was 32 when he was elected and 33 when he was sworn in as the state's 47th governor -- the youngest in Missouri history. He was the first Republican to hold that office since Gov. Forrest C. Donnell left office on Jan. 8, 1945.
