  7. Elizabeth Woodville was the daughter of Richard Woodville a knight, and Jacquetta daughter of Peter of Luxembourg. When she was 15 years old Elizabeth married John Grey, but he was killed at the Battle of St Albans in 1461 fighting for the Lancastrian cause leaving her a widow with two young sons.
