Hace 2 días · Admittedly, I enjoyed learning more about colorful and diverse figures like performer Zero Mostel, composer Leonard Bernstein, and producer David Merrick. The book is certainly useful as a broad if disjointed survey of Jews who interacted with Broadway. One major annoyance, though, was Lane’s periodic discourses into the first person.
