Lothlórien, also known as Lórien, was the vast woodland realm of the Galadhrim elves located near the lower Misty Mountains in northern Middle-earth. It was first settled by the Nandor, but they were later joined by a small number of Ñoldor and Sindar under Celeborn of Doriath and Galadriel, daughter of Finarfin.

5 de mar. de 2021 · History. Lórien was the most beautiful place in Arda with silver willows, flowers, and lakes. One of those lakes was named Lórellin. [1] It was inhabited by singing nightingales and many spirits who served Irmo and Estë. [2] . The Eldar, the Maiar, and even the Valar visited the gardens of Lórien to rest and be refreshed by its fountains. [3] .
Galadriel was the "Lady" of the woods of Lothlórien, which she ruled with Celeborn, her husband. One of the greatest Elves in Middle-earth, she surpassed nearly all others in beauty, knowledge, and power. She bore Nenya, one of the three Elven rings of power.
