THIS is the famous bridge in Once Upon a Time in America. Aug 2023 • Friends. Even though it is often mistaken for the Brooklyn Bridge, this bridge is actually the one in Once Upon a Time in America. It is featured in other movies, but that movie poster is the most famous. That shot is beautiful and captures the bridge in a romantic sort of way.

Construction: The construction of the bridge began in 1901 and was finally opened for traffic on December 31 1909. More recently, the pedestrian pathway was re-opened after years of construction in 2001.
Manhattan Bridge är utan tvivel en av de äldsta broarna i New York. Manhattan Bridge historia börjar redan år 1901. Den 31 december 1909 kunde de första personerna gå över bron från Brooklyn till Manhattan.
