Manhattan cocktail es un clásico de la coctelería. Su receta se prepara a partir de Whiskey (de centeno o canadiense), Vermut rojo y Angostura.

Agregue 2 oz de whisky de centeno, 1 oz de vermut dulce y 2 pizcas de bitters de Angostura. Revuelva la mezcla suavemente durante unos 30 segundos, o hasta que esté bien fría. Cuele el cóctel en una copa o vaso de martini enfriado. Adorne con una cereza maraschino y una cáscara de naranja o limón.
