Character Skins
Multiple character skins are available for purchase at Lefty Sonic's shop.
•Some time after the release of the game, an expansion of its content named "Maniac Mania PLUS" was announced. This expansion was cancelled.
•A more recent expansion, known as "Maniac Mania Recoded" and later as "Maniac Mania INFINITE" had similar plans that focused more on the game's mechanics rather than skins, but was also cancelled.
•The original demonstration of Maniac Mania Classic can be found under the name "Maniac Mania MINUS".
•If the player never gets the "An Annoying Friend" achievement when they buy Lefty Sonic's letter, they will be given a special achievement in its place.
