Margaret Hamilton is an American computer scientist. She was one of the first computer software programmers. (Software is the instructions that tell the computer hardware what to do.) Hamilton was responsible for the software that allowed astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to land on the Moon.
